It is with pleasure that I accepted the role of spokesperson for the Memory Walk for the Alzheimer Society of Suroît that will take place on May 25th.
My grandfather, Robert Sauvé, founder of the Alzheimer Society of Suroît in 1998, lived through many emotional moments while he accompanied his wife throughout her battle against the disease. He did his best, as a volunteer, to help those suffering from Alzheimer's as well as their families in this region. My involvement with this cause enables me to lend a hand to this regional society and to those who care for those with Alzheimer's. I bring my notoriety as a pilot and as several times champion of the Valleyfield Regattas to the Memory Walk with confidence in its success.
