It is with great pride that we accepted to get involved with this second edition of the RONA/Dr. Achille Juneau Memory Walk. This fundraising event is sponsored by the Québec Federation of Alzheimer Societies.
Jean-Luc, Bernard and Martin are pleased to represent the Jules and Lucille Drolet family and to participate in the Memory Walk for Alzheimer's. The funds collected will provide services to the numerous families that are affected by this disease in the Témiscamingue region.
In my forty years of involvement in the field of medicine, I met lots of people battling all sorts of diseases. All these diseases affected these people's lives to various degrees. However, one of these diseases has always really moved me, Alzheimer's disease.
The RONA Memory Walk website officially went on line today. It offers the population and those who’ve signed up for the Walk a terrific tool for taking part.
Today is officially the day that the walker recruiting campaign begins. Your Alzheimer society is counting on the generosity and involvement of people in the area to carry on with its mission.
