It is with great pleasure and most of all with pride that I have accepted the honorary presidency of the Memory Walk for the Chaudière-Appalaches Alzheimer Society.


Once again, we have a devastating disease, which leaves its victims completely defenseless.


The May 25, 2008 walk will heighten public awareness as much as possible, and at the same time, the funds collected will enable ongoing research to someday find a solution to this disease, which for now, is still without a cure. The funds will also help increase the range of services provided by the Alzheimer Chaudière-Applalaches Society.


So, on May 25th, I invite the entire Chaudière-Appalaches population to join us in order to make the RONA Memory Walk an absolute success, while also providing hope to people suffering from Alzheimer's as well as to their loved ones.
